I've always found myself wanting to challenge the traditional approach to things. "There has to be a better way!" has felt like a personal motto to me for quite some time. I grew up outside of Kansas City with a family who instilled values of love, compassion, empathy, challenging yourself to always be better, hard work and dedication. I carry these same personal values with me in the work I create.
I found myself diving into motion graphics and graphic design at the Savannah College of Art and Design and from there have tested those skills in San Francisco, Kansas City, and New York.
I quickly realized design wasn't only about the beautification of things and the delivery of a message, but trying to solve the unknown and intangible problems that one can encounter every day. This discovery drove me to pursue a masters degree in Service Design and Design Research.
We are at an extremely exciting time where the intersection of technology and humanity are showing us things about ourselves we never imagined possible. I am passionate about doing everything I can to contribute to solving the problems we face today and searching for those future problems we are not yet aware of.
